A cube with rounded corners, like an icon on a smartphone screen. Designed in accordance with the best Artifort traditions: smooth, timeless and comfortable. Artifort is proud to present the first design by Richard Hutten for Artifort. The Apps has a wooden internal frame. Comfort is assured thanks to the use of webbing in the back and an ingenious seat that boosts the natural comfort of the thick layer of foam.

Richard Hutten
Netherlands, 1967
Richard Hutten graduated at the Academy Industrial Design Eindhoven in 1991. That same year he started his own designstudio, working on a variety of projects such as: furniture, product, interior and exhibition design. He developed his 'No sign of design' and 'Table upon table' concepts. He is one of the most internationally successful Dutch designers; a key exponent of "Droog Design", in which he has been involved since it's inception in 1993.
His work is part of the permanent collections of, among others, Centraal Museum Utrecht, Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art Amsterdam, Vitra Museum Weil am Rhein, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Philippe Starck used some of Huttens designs for the interiors of the Delano Hotel Miami and the Mondrian Hotel Los Angeles.

This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
