Loll Westport Adirondack Chair
At Loll we have always been inspired by original design and when we first set out to make an Adirondack chair it had to be our own version. But truly we are all just making an iteration of the original Adirondack chair. The one that has always inspired us is the first, the Westport Chair designed by Thomas Lee in 1903 for his summer cottage overlooking Lake Champlain in Westport, NY. The Westport is undeniably the most iconic American outdoor lounge chair and the original design that spawned countless varieties all based on that 11 piece design statement. Lee was motivated to design a comfortable outdoor lounging chair for the purpose of watching summer sunsets over the lake with a drink resting on the arm.

- Loll furniture will arrive knocked down or flat-packed to save on costs and resources. Knocked down (partially assembled) and flat-packed products will require assembly. We have gone to great lengths to make assembly very simple. Your shipment will include easy-to-follow instructions and any tools that you need to assemble your furniture. Loll Designs came into being in 1997 when a Minnesota-based municipal skate park designer/builder, TrueRide, designed, built, and installed more than 450 custom skateboard parks in cities across the U.S. and abroad. TrueRide’s founders, fueled by an inherent concern for the environment, led them to seek a use for the recyclable materials in their skate park projects. In 2003 Loll Designs was conceived as a way to repurpose excess skate ramp material into outdoor furniture. The iconic Adirondack chair was a natural place to start and it was launched in 2006.
With a focus on modern design and doing the right thing, Loll Designs forged ahead creating hundreds of products. Unique recycled materials and sustainable business practices all coalesce to make innovative, functional, and thoughtful products made in the USA and distributed worldwide.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
