A suspension lamp offering multiple lighting scenarios for personalized aesthetic and functional performance. Based on experimentation with the potential of LEDs, a technology that permits separation into very small units, Mesh is a dramatic and highly innovative project. The lightweight, almost transparent structure composed of a network of metal cables with the LED positioned at their intersections conceals the complexity of the product, dematerializing it to leave space only for light, the true protagonist of the lamp. A poetic creation of great impact that makes it possible to generate a refined, evocative atmosphere. The particular structure of the lamp permits exceptional freedom in the control of its luminance: the intensity can be adjusted, and it is possible to choose which sectors to illuminate – an upper ring, the lower zone, a lateral sector. Thanks to its versatility and spectacular image, Mesh is perfect for both the home and contract markets.

Francisco Gomez Paz
Born in Salta, Argentina in 1975. After obtaining the Industrial Design degree at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba Francisco Gomez Paz moved to Milan in 1998 where he attended the Master in Design at Domus Academy. Since opening his design office in Milan in 2004 he has developed products for leading design companies such as Artemide, Driade, Danese, Lensvelt, Luceplan, Olivetti and Sector among others. Francisco’s approach to design is driven by his own curiosity, the knowledge of technology and materials and a highly experimental hands-on creative process. His work has received several international recognitions such as the Good Design Award 2010 and the Red Dot Award 2010; he has been honoured together with Alberto Meda with the First Prize of the Index Award for the Solar Bottle, which has also been selected for the MOMA’s Study Collection and recently he received the Prize of Prizes to Innovation in Design from Italy’s president Giorgio Napolitano for the Hope chandelier and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro 2011. He is active in the fields of research and education, he is visiting professor at Domus Academy from 2000 and has held lectures in Italy and abroad. His projects have been exhibited in several international events and published by main design publications.

This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.

- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
