Designed for MENU by Anderssen & Voll, Brasilia Ottoman is distinguished by its robust, cylindrical legs and softly curved cushion. Informed by mid-20th century Danish craftsmanship and Brazilian Modernism, the versatile design has lasting appeal – as a footrest with the accompanying chair, as a low-lying seat for unexpected guests, or as a resting place for a newspaper or tray. Available in three wood options and a range of soft fabrics from our extensive range, it can be tailored to use anywhere.

After ten years of collaboration at the Oslo based Norway Says design company, founders Torbjørn Andersen and Espen Voll have set about creating a new firm. Andersen & Voll was launched in autumn 2009 and have quickly set about creating modern, clean designs for which they have become known. Anderssen & Voll works within various fields of design, but focuses main on domestic objects.
Anderssen & Voll are two thirds of the former Norway Says and among the most prominent and succesful Norwegian designers. They have formerly been named both Norwegian and Scandinavian designers of the year in Norway and have received international awards and recognition for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories.
Menu is a Danish design studio that enriches living through designs that push the boundaries of contemporary home design while connecting individuals creatively, comfortably, and functionally. Its line includes furniture, lighting, chairs, and tables. Founded by Bjarne Hansen in 1978, Menu works with top designers and craftspeople worldwide. By connecting the dots between home, work, and hospitality, Menu redefines how space is used and how we connect with those around us.
The holistic operating philosophy of the studio honors the connection between the designer and client and the client and their space. From mouth-blown glass vases to wall-mounted steel tables, Menu’s minimalist, space-saving designs elevate modern interior design.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
