Normann Copenhagen Block Table
Since 2012, the best-selling mobile side table, Block, has been headed at great speed towards the title of a modern design classic.
Designer Simon Legald was inspired by the classic trolley table, which he has updated and made his own with simple, yet impactful means. Block’s rounded shape, contrasting materials and the combination of craft and industry leaves the designer’s signature on the design and gives the table its unique expression.
Block has no specific direction and can be used from all four sides. It is a versatile piece of furniture with many different functions in the home. Use Block as a serving trolley or side table, in the kitchen, as a bedside table, for a home bar or in the children’s room.

Simon Legald
Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small and large scale products. Simon's designs are often created in a dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. He also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.
"Honesty is what makes a product understandable and is what describes the products functionality. If you understand the product, it does not need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore, it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects and makes them trustworthy. In my design, I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression."

This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
