Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman met for the first time in University, while studying to become engineers in Anverse, Belgium. Years later, in 1992, they met again, both with the desire to start their own business.
Together they wanted to start importing outdoor furniture in teak wood from Indonesia, but soon realized that the products were poor in quality and were manufactured only in colonial style.
They decided to create better designs and raise the quality of the furniture. Within days, the company was born and named Royal Botania, an allusion to both the natural beauty of lush botanical gardens and the supreme luxury furniture they were about to create.
Soon, the company has become internationally known and synonymous of quality and luxury design worldwide. This success has opened the way to new collections of furniture and outdoor lighting as well as bathroom furniture. In line with the growth of the team, new materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and synthetic fibers were introduced.
Outdoor luxury says it all! Situated in Antwerp Belgium, Royal Botania manufactures outdoor furniture collections designed to be the absolute best. The name alludes to both the natural beauty of lush botanical gardens and the matching supreme “royal class” furniture they create. Initially the focus of Royal Botania was to fuse superb quality and refreshing designs made out of teak wood. Quickly the company became internationally synonymous for quality and design. The reputation and brand name gained worldwide recognition. They soon expanded and introduced lines made of new materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and synthetic fibers. When it comes to the materials, only the very best is good enough. Royal Botania’s products are sold worldwide and must therefore be as resistant to the desert heat in Dubai as it is to the tough Canadian winters or the high UV-exposure under the Australian summer-sun.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
