Stelton Amphora Vacuum Jug
Both the shape and name of Amphora were inspired by ancient Greek clay pots, which were used for storing and transporting oil and wine. The shape, with its round body and distinctive shoulders, has inspired designers for centuries. The idiom of Amphora is underscored by the composition of colours and the shiny and matt surface of the materials. Inside, Amphora vacuum jug is a classic vacuum jug with a glass insert that will keep coffee or tea hot for hours. The bottom of the vacuum jug can be unscrewed, allowing the glass insert to be replaced in case of breakage. This provides the vacuum jug with a longer lifespan, making it both money saving and better for the environment.

Started over 50 years ago by two army friends looking to start a trading business, Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire heard about a small factory in Fårevejle, Denmark, called Danish Stainless. Stelton (a combination of their two names) began marketing a stainless gravy boat that sold like hotcakes in Danish hardware stores and was also a hit in Europe. Beginning with award-winning designs by Arne Jacobsen, perhaps Denmark’s greatest architect and designer, Stelton invited new designers to furnish innovative product ideas to appeal to a broader range of consumer tastes. Stelton products have become the epitome of Danish design.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $150 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.
- Small items will be delivered by FedEx or other courier service in your area.
- Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
